Nachtwerk invited us to create custom visuals for their club nights in and around Amsterdam. The result is an application that generates moody graphics in real time based on a music and video feed. The system analyzes images to create a fluid simulation, resulting in an endlessly shifting and melting series of abstract images.

Each image is analyzed producing a vector map, allowing features to search for each other: the results are then visualized using fields, particles, geometry and image data. A midi controller is used to control parts of the simulation and application, such as particle decay, feature selection, image selection, vector selection and particle count.

The application is written in C++ and uses OpenGL to render to the screen.
